"I wasn't sure that James' lessons would be right for me - I was worried that it would be too technical and too bio-mechanical, and I wouldn't be able to relate to it. But I was struggling with my putting, very streaky from the sublime to the downright awful and I thought I'd give it a go. In the event, it was fine. The technical, evidence based approach is interesting in itself - who knew into how many facets a putting stroke could break down?! But what was important to me is that the complex technical data translated into three simple instruction or changes to my putting stroke, changes which I have found easy to incorporate into my routine and which give me much more confidence standing over the ball.

I'd like to say I immediately went round in 10 less strokes but sadly you still have to work hard to repeat your routine consistently, and judging line and distance is of course a whole other kettle of worms so be warned its not a panacea - but as I said it does give you a good, solid framework and much more confidence over the ball."
